Capella was involved in developing this Level 3 Improvement Technician Apprenticeship Standards and Assessment Plans, so we have a clear and complete understanding of them.

We consulted widely to develop our training materials, and they’ve been approved by Lean Six Sigma trailblazers Toyota, so you can be confident they’re benchmarked against Best in Class. Hear from Sarah Bartlett, Costa Coffee – Level 4 Improvement Practitioner

Here’s what Sarah had to say about her experience of a Capella Apprenticeship:

“I started my apprenticeship in May 2022 and will finish in September 2023. It’s a fantastic opportunity for personal development and will bring new knowledge and skills to Costa. In terms of what I hope to get out of the apprenticeship, it will be nice to have the qualification, but the biggest benefit is what I will be able to apply to my day-to-day role.

It’s great working alongside people from very different sectors, with very different roles. I know that by completing this apprenticeship, I will be able to apply the principles of continuous improvement not only in my career, but also my role as a school governor, which benefits my local community.”

And finally, we asked Sarah what would you say to anyone else considering this?

“It’s a brilliant way to learn new skills to apply at work. Undertaking the apprenticeship on the job for me has meant that I am able to use my day-to-day role as evidence in my portfolio, and I can immediately apply new knowledge”.
