Overview
Data Technicians help organisations turn information into insight. They collect, manage and analyse data, ensuring it can be trusted, understood and used to support better decisions. By identifying trends, improving data quality and communicating findings clearly, they help organisations understand performance, reduce risk and drive improvement.
The Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship develops the practical skills needed to perform this role effectively. Through a blend of technical learning and workplace application, apprentices learn how to source, format, cleanse, manage and analyse data, uncover meaningful trends, and present insights that technical and non-technical audiences can act on. They also learn how to apply data within a structured improvement approach, helping their organisation understand performance, support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
